Bomb explodes on path of Russian ambassador convoy

The Russian embassy in Islamabad issued a statement on Sunday reporting an attack on the convoy of this country's diplomatic official in Pakistan.

A car in the convoy of the Russian ambassador to Pakistan was hit by a mine and an explosion occurred, the statement reads.

The Russian diplomatic delegation was not injured in the incident, It added.
